Meet the island

In this beautiful island of Thassos, in the island of Macedonia, Aelia Studios stands out to be the ideal and most welcoming place for your summer vacation. It is located between both mountain and sea (at the foot of Mount Ypsario) and are only 1.2 km away from the lively Skala Potamia.

In this quiet location you and your loved ones can enjoy a few (or many) days of relaxation having close to you everthing necessary for your everday needs, such as the supermarket being only 50 m away. And the main road of Skala Potamias 800 meters. So, between the village of Skala Potamia, which is famously known for its clear, blue waters is also our Golden beach. So whatever you need for your summer vacation is at the tip of your toes.

Skala Potamia is known for its nightly entertainment and traditional taverns on the beach. In the village of Potamia, there are beautiful trees ideal for cool evening walks in the streets and among the beautiful traditional Macedonian houses. There, visitors can try the Greek ouzo of Thassos in its extraordinary taverns. All of which mentioned stand in a distance of 12 km from the port and the capital of the island, which are the administrative and commercial centers of Thassos.

The beaches of Thassos are very clean and one of the best in the North Aegean. We unreservedly recommend the Golden Coast at Skala Potamias, Makriammos and Glyfada, Psili Ammos, Aliki and Pefkari.

The sunset at Maries

Get a taste of the authentic atmosphere of a Greek island, with a visit to Maries. From the top of this amphitheatrically built village you will enjoy an incredible sunset.

Limenas

With the sea on one side and a dense pine forest on the other, the capital of Thassos is a lively city with a vibrant nightlife.

Ancient City

Following the signs from the old port you will be led to the hill above Limenas, in the ancient city of Thassos, which dates back to 700 BC.

Places of Priesthood

The Monastery of the Archangel Michael is the largest and most famous in Thassos. Built on the edge of a cliff, in the south of the island, it offers excellent views of the Aegean.
